Our goal is to support athletes that have been persecuted and oppressed because of their active social stance. It does not matter if you are a World Champion, an Olympic Champion, a local school champion or a kindergarten coach – as long as you are a champion of freedom – we will do our best to support you. The Foundation is designed to fund athletes and coaches, professional and amateur alike, who sacrificed their personal well-being and even pursuit of gold medals to be true role models in opposing dictatorship, violence, discrimination and the suppression of free speech and personal freedoms.
